Application
The cable is used for transmitting electricity overhead. it has less installation, maintenance, and operating costs which can provide higher security and reliability. To supply 120 volt aerial service for temporary service at construction sites, outdoor or street lighting.
Construction
Conductor: concentric strand aluminum wires as phase conductor, AAAC OR ACSR as neutral core, phase conductor is insulated by XLPE OR HDPE OR PVC.
Insulation: the main function of the cable insulation layer is to insulated the conductor from the surrounding enviroment or from the adjacent conductors. Insulation is usually made of materials such as polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polyethylene (PE) or cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE). and the conductor temperature of PVC insulated conductors does not exceed 75℃ and the conductor temperature of XLPE insulated conductors does not exceed 90℃
